With just one short film under her belt, 12 year old Sennia Nanua is about to be propelled into the spotlight after being cast as the lead in post-apocalyptic zombie thriller She Who Brings Gifts.

The highly anticipated feature, adapted from MR Carey's bestselling novel The Girl With All The Gifts, sees the British youngster star alongside Glenn Close, Paddy Considine and Gemma Arterton. Nanua was picked play the lead in the film - which shoots in the UK throughout the spring - following a casting call of over 500 girls, with director Colm McCarthy commenting afterwards 'She's a very special girl'.
